Maggie Grace is an American actress who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio dropped out high school in order to move to Los Angeles after her divorced parents. As she struggled financially, she was able to land her first acting gig as Rachel's Room's title character the online video series Rachel's Room in 2001. In 2002 she was nominated to receive an Young Artist Award with her part as the 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and she shared with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with the rest of the cast) along with her. Grace left the television series in the year 2005, to take on an even more prominent role in film, appearing in the film Taken alongside Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. The actress was as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in 2008. The role was reprised as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern adaptation of Lewis Carroll's book Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon. In 2013, she appears in Californianation, the sixth Season. She portrays Faith as a groupie and is also a model actors. She's the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), she is a bit older that Jake Gyllenhaal. Her first roles were in films of her father in his adolescent years. Together with her brother she was also as a character in Donnie Darko (2000). She appeared next in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal has received critical praise for her lead performances in Secretary (2002, erotic romantic drama) as well as Sherrybaby (606), both of which garnered her Golden Globe Award nods. She gained wider recognition after playing Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercial films that she was a part of during the year 2006.
